On Saturday 17th May, B-Attitudes Committee of Management and friends celebrated the official launch of their mobile office/people mover with a barbecue at the Old Tea Pavilion, Kings Park. B-Attitudes took delivery of the vehicle in February, having been successful in a two-year long process in gaining a vehicle grant from Lotterywest towards its purchase.

The VW Multivan Highline provides an innovative multi-purpose, flexible resource and people carrier, to enhance B-Attitudes mobile team outreach service in the metropolitan area. Its 7-seat configuration allows for the middle two seats to swivel and form a conference setting with central round table, providing a mobile setting for client meetings, small group setting, and team meetings. This offers a user-friendly, accessible and versatile resource and meeting place in many and varied outdoor settings in areas across the metropolitan area and beyond.

The sun shone on the day, and the occasion gave an opportunity to commence filming of a promotional DVD about the service that B-Attitudes provides, thanks to friends of B-Attitudes. It is anticipated the DVD will be used for fundraising and community information purposes.
